Milo Djukanovic, as a former president, has the right to request and be offered security, said Zoran Brdjanin, director of the Montenegrin Police, after the session of the Security Commission.
He said that the Commission approved the report.
“I understood that some MPs thought that there was a lack of communication between the ANB and the police. We clarified all this and there is no more ambiguity. There was a need for clarifications for MPs, but some MPs think that is still not the case. Djukanovic, as a former president, has the right to security. The part about Djukanovic’s threat is secret information,” Brdjanin said.
Asked if there were omissions, he says that it was not in the sense of institutional actions.
“We still have to see what the officials’ actions were,” he said.
The police director says that his report with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Danilo Sharanovic, is a better sign of his return to duty.
“Sharanovic and I are cooperating with precisely defined legal frameworks and at this moment we have no open questions and I hope there won’t be any.” Nothing prevents our operation for now”, says Brdjanin.
