The chairman of the Party for Freedom and Justice, Dragan Djilas, recalled on the X social network the televised duel he once had with the current president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. During the mentioned fight, the then opposition Vucic promised that he would withdraw from politics if he proves in court that Djilas is a thief.

“A man of his word, why should anyone doubt his promises”, Djilas wrote above the video.

The chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party, Dragan Djilas, and the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, visited the journalist Tanja Jordović on TV Pink in 2005.

The then leader of the Serbian Radical Party, Aleksandar Vučić, during the duel held 19 years ago, promised Djilas and the Serbian public two things. First, that he will file a complaint against Gjilas, because he called him a thief all the time, and secondly, that he will withdraw from politics if the competent bodies find that Djilas is not a thief.
