Kamala Harris will officially be the Democratic nominee facing Donald Trump in the November presidential election, having secured the majority of her party’s delegate votes.
The official confirmation is expected on Monday when the online voting process for delegates is also set to conclude.
In a message to her supporters, Harris expressed her honor at receiving the nomination.
