Serbian journalist Radomir Dimiq has argued that the idea of opening the Iber Bridge in Mitrovica is beneficial for the integration and cooperation of citizens from both sides, from a European multi-ethnic perspective on Kosovo.

“Therefore, the accusations from Belgrade that Kosovo’s Prime Minister wants to incite conflict by opening the Iber Bridge are entirely baseless and unacceptable. It is unacceptable to create panic and fear among citizens in northern Kosovo, who have enjoyed the government’s understanding for more than two decades without paying for electricity, water, and other obligations,” Dimiq stated.

He further urged the Serbs in Kosovo not to fall prey to the continuous propaganda of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

“Do not live under the illusion that northern Kosovo, through the Association, will gain another Republika Srpska. In this context, today’s protests by the Serbian List, List and some other minor political parties from northern Kosovo, citizens should understand that this is all the work of Milan Radoičić, who wants to provoke a reaction from the Kosovo government and create chaos, as has been seen so many times,” Dimiq added in his response.
