U.S. President Joe Biden assessed in an interview released today that his predecessor, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, poses a “real threat to America’s security” if elected on November 5.
“Listen to me carefully. If he wins those elections, just watch what happens. This is dangerous. He is a real threat to America’s security,” Biden told CBS.
Biden has withdrawn from the presidential race, leaving the position to Vice President Kamala Harris.
“We are at a turning point. We are truly at a turning point… and democracy is a key element,” Biden added in a recorded conversation a few days ago at the White House.
He seemed better then than during the CNN debate with Trump on June 27.
“I had a really bad day during that debate because I was ill, but I don’t have any serious health issues,” he told CBS when asked about it.
Three weeks after his disastrous debate performance, Biden announced on July 21 that he was withdrawing from the presidential race.
