The issue of Kosovo was the primary topic of discussion between CIA Director William Burns and Serbian officials during his recent visit to Belgrade.
This is reported by the international media giant BBC in its Serbian service, citing several sources, although unofficial.
“The topics with Serbian officials were more political than intelligence-related, and most of the discussions were about Kosovo, the BBC learned unofficially,” the article states.
Kosovo was the final destination of the CIA chief’s tour.
In Pristina, on August 22, Burns met with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, and the head of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), Petrit Ajeti.
After the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Kurti publicly thanked CIA Director Burns for the support given to Kosovo.
