The Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, stated that Serbia is not a democratic country. He described the neighboring state as inconsistent and immature, which “causes regional conflicts.”
“We need to be very clear and state that Serbia is not a democratic country. What they did to Ms. Vučković shows how they treat everyone who has a different opinion from the governing structures in Serbia,” Jandroković said, referring to the several-hour detention of Croatian singer Severina Vučković at the Serbian border.
“In addition to sitting on two chairs, Serbia is inconsistent, immature, and causes regional conflicts,” Jandroković added.
He stated that Croatia needs to be cautious and avoid falling into provocations.
“We need to be wiser here and not fall into provocations. I do not want to dictate how the media should report, but I think it would be wise for them to somewhat ignore Vučić,” Jandroković said.
