Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci announced that he met with the communication team from the Iowa National Guard today.
During the meeting, Maqedonci stated that they discussed the achievements of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in collaboration with the Iowa National Guard, as well as the activities carried out during this visit.
Maqedonci added that the contribution of the Iowa National Guard to enhancing communication capacities within the Kosovo Security Force has been highly significant and valuable to them.
He mentioned that cooperation with the Iowa Guard will continue in the future.

Today, at the Ministry of Defense, together with KSF Commander Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, we hosted the communication team from the Iowa National Guard.
The meeting focused on the achievements of the KSF in cooperation with the Iowa National Guard and the activities carried out during this visit, which primarily aimed to deepen technical knowledge in IT systems, cyber defense capacities, and tactical radio communication capabilities.
The contribution of the Iowa National Guard to improving communication capacities within the Kosovo Security Force has been very meaningful and valuable to us.
Cooperation with the Iowa National Guard for enhancing our military capabilities will continue in the future.
