“Russia must clearly express its readiness to use nuclear weapons against countries that support NATO’s aggression in Ukraine.”

This is how Sergey Karaganov, a prominent political scientist who heads the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy and is known as the “oracle” to whom Vladimir Putin always listens, expressed himself in an interview with Kommersant. Known as the Kremlin’s “skifteri,” Karaganov accuses the United States of misleading its allies about Moscow’s striking capability and calls for a more decisive nuclear stance against the West, according to A2.

“Moscow could launch a limited nuclear strike against a NATO country without initiating a full-scale nuclear war. The United States misled its allies by assuring them of nuclear protection. All our current and future enemies should be assured that Russia is ready to use nuclear weapons,” Karaganov said, as cited by A2.

These dangerous threats from Putin’s trusted advisor come just weeks after Ukraine seized a part of the Kursk region in Russia.
