The British Ambassador to Serbia, Edward Ferguson, has responded to the Serbian newspaper “Politika” regarding an article titled “MI6 Against Vulin,” calling it Kremlin-made nonsense. Ferguson, in a post on “X,” questioned why the newspaper did not seek his comment on the article.

“Hey @PolitikaJavlja, I am disappointed that you did not contact us or seek a comment on this Kremlin-fabricated nonsense. However, I expect more from the oldest newspaper in Serbia. How does a text of this kind align with your foundational principles?” he wrote.

The article claims that MI6 plans to accuse Aleksandar Vulin of orchestrating the attack in Banjska.

“To this end, using MI6’s operational capabilities in the media of several Balkan countries and agents of the Serbian opposition, it is planned that soon fabricated evidence, obtained under physical pressure and torture, will be published by a Serbian citizen who has been in a Kosovo prison for seven months and who accuses Vulin of organizing the armed incident in the village of Banjskë in Kosovo, which occurred on September 23, 2023 (at that time Vulin was the director of BIA),” the article states.
