The Kosovo Agency of Statistics has published data regarding the trends in exports and imports for the month of August this year. The trade deficit for August reached 9.4% compared to August of the previous year.
“The data from foreign trade of goods in Kosovo indicates a trade deficit of 9.4% in August 2024, in relation to the same period in 2023, amounting to 498.5 million euros, compared to a deficit of 455.8 million euros in 2023,” states the ASK report.
The data show that the export of goods in August was valued at 83.5 million euros (an increase of 24%), while imports increased by 11.2%, totaling 582 million euros.
