American soldiers from the KFOR Regional Command East have conducted vehicle inspections in the municipality of Leposaviq, as reported by the NATO peacekeeping mission.

KFOR describes these inspections as an effort as part of its mission “to guarantee a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo.”

KFOR emphasizes that it continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner.
