Kosovo Police, in coordination with the state prosecutor, are in the process of shutting down a parallel Serbian municipality operating for Skenderaj in northern Kosovo.
The news was confirmed by Veton Elshani, the deputy director of police for the northern region, who stated that they are currently conducting a raid on the facility.
“There is a parallel municipality for Skenderaj in the north. We have entered the premises and are inspecting it. Based on everything, it is likely to be closed,” said Elshani.
A few weeks ago, the police had already closed other parallel municipalities that were functioning in the northern region of the country.
