The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, met today with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.
In a Facebook post, Gërvalla announced that she also met with her Canadian counterpart and other foreign ministers from various countries around the world.
“Together with the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Justin Trudeau, my Canadian counterpart, Ms. Mélanie Joly, and other foreign ministers from many countries, we are here today in Montreal, Canada, to discuss the Human Dimension of the Peace Formula for Ukraine,” Gërvalla wrote.
She emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo stands firm in its support for Ukraine, for its people, for all innocent victims of this war, and for peace and stability in the region and Europe.
According to Gërvalla, the participation of the Republic of Kosovo in the Ministerial Conference on the Human Dimension of the Peace Formula for Ukraine “demonstrates our commitment to supporting sustainable peace, Kosovo’s solidarity with the Ukrainian people, support through programs we are implementing, and dedication to peace, security, and stability.”
