NATO’s Peacekeeping Mission has expressed gratitude for their work in Kosovo.
The Multinational Specialized Units of KFOR received medals for their outstanding services.
The news was announced via a post on Facebook.
“KFOR continues to carry out its mandate—based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999—to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR is the third security responder, following the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX), with whom we work in close coordination,” the announcement states.
