The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, was asked in Budapest about the re-election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. Rama said that for Albanians, the USA is the USA, and it makes no difference who leads the White House.
Rama stated that Albanians are the most pro-American community in Europe.
“For Albania, it doesn’t mean anything in the sense that nothing changes. Whoever is in the White House makes no difference because the USA is the USA. We are not influenced by emotions because for us, it is the same,” said Rama.
The Albanian Prime Minister mentioned that when Trump first became President of the United States, many people were scared, but during that time, NATO became even stronger.
Rama emphasized that Trump’s return should not be viewed as something negative. On the contrary, it should be seen as an opportunity, perhaps to make things even better.
