Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti visited one of the depots housing the latest armament supplies for the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) on Tuesday evening. The visit was announced by Kurti himself via a Facebook post, in which he highlighted that he was accompanied by the KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci.
Kurti explained that the modern weaponry is part of the ongoing purchases and supplies for the KSF, which are aimed at continuously enhancing the force’s capabilities.
“Last night, together with the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, we visited one of the depots where the latest armament supplies for our army are stored. This modern weaponry is part of the ongoing purchases and supplies we are making for our force, and it is just a small part of the larger quantity of infantry armament we have ever received,” wrote Kurti.
The Prime Minister further emphasized that the enhancement of military capabilities has always been and will continue to be dedicated to protecting Kosovo’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the maintenance of peace and security.
