Member of the AAK Presidency, Daut Haradinaj, stated that Serbia’s war-mongering rhetoric towards Kosovo only increases the will to defend its territory, describing these efforts as a “political survival necessity” for Serbia.
He emphasized that Kosovo and its allies are hundreds of times stronger and better prepared than they were in 1998-99.
“The war-mongering stances in Serbia from the remnants of Milošević’s regime are nothing more than a political survival need in Serbia. Kosovo and its security allies are hundreds of times stronger and better prepared than we were in 1998-99. These statements from the Balkan loser only increase our will to be ready to defend every inch of our territory, just as we did against the butcher of the Balkans.”
Haradinaj added that Kosovo is focused on becoming a NATO member to permanently resolve security debates.
“We are focused on becoming a part of NATO, and this will permanently close the security debates for Kosovo.”
