An explosion, believed to have come from a gas cylinder, occurred in a café on “Mark Sopi” street in Prishtina, leaving two people injured.

Police are on the scene, spokesperson Flora Ahmeti confirmed to Express.

Her full statement:

“At around 11:00 PM, an explosion occurred in a café on ‘Mark Sopi’ street in Prishtina. Police officers immediately responded as they were in the vicinity of the incident.

Based on initial information, it is suspected that the explosion originated from a gas cylinder.

So far, it is confirmed that two people have been injured.

The police are on-site and are handling the circumstances of the incident.”
