Anton Berisha, a prominent figure in Kosovo’s political and diplomatic landscape, has passed away today. He served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo and as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs during his distinguished career.

The news of his death was confirmed by his family, who announced that Berisha passed away following a short illness.

His burial will take place on January 3 at the Catholic cemetery in Pejë.

Family Announcement:

“Dear family and friends,

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we inform you that our beloved father, Anton Berisha, passed away today, January 2, after a short illness, leaving an unimaginable void in our hearts.

The wake will be held tomorrow (January 3) from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine Catholic Church in Pejë.

His burial will take place on January 3 at 1:00 PM at the Catholic cemetery. The memorial service will be held on January 4 at the ‘Koha 3’ restaurant, in the center of the city, from 09:00 AM to 2:00 PM.”
