Students in Serbia paid tribute today to the 15 victims of the roof collapse at the Novi Sad railway station and the 12 victims of the shooting in Cetinje, Montenegro.
During the protest in Novi Sad, a driver in a BMW attempted to break through a column of students. Initially, he drove his car through the crowd, then got out and started arguing.
“The man in the black BMW tried to pass us, but we wouldn’t let him. He got angry and confronted our colleague,” said a student who was present at the scene.
During the confrontation, another driver got out of his car and came to the students’ defense.
Together with the students, he managed to chase the BMW driver away, who fled on foot, leaving the car on the road. “The driver ran off when more people approached,” said a student.
