The Kosovo Ambassador to Brussels, Agron Bajrami, has addressed the European Union regarding the closure of parallel structures in certain regions, reports Ekonomia Online.
Ambassador Bajrami clarified that these structures, directed by Serbia, were illegal, emphasizing there was no agreement governing their future or negotiations about them. He also stated that the action to close them did not provoke tensions.
“There is no agreement that outlines negotiations for the future of these structures,” Bajrami wrote on the platform X.
Following the closure of Serbia’s parallel institutions operating in Kosovo, the U.S. Embassy in Pristina and the European Union have responded, stressing that such issues should be handled through dialogue.
