A contingent of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has joined the international military exercise “Winter EX 2025,” led by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey (TAF).
The KSF’s participation comes as part of bilateral cooperation and an invitation from the TAF, according to an official statement.
Multilateral Training in Extreme Conditions
“Winter EX 2025” is a multilateral field exercise featuring extensive participation from partner countries, security agencies, and Turkish governmental and non-governmental organizations. The exercise focuses on operational and tactical skills in extreme weather conditions within Turkey’s territorial borders.
Enhancing Operational and Professional Capacities
The KSF’s involvement aims to enhance operational and professional capacities and improve interoperability in joint operations with international partners.
“This participation strengthens the operational and professional capabilities of our units and fosters greater cooperation in joint missions with our partners,” the statement reads.
The exercise underscores Kosovo’s commitment to advancing its military capabilities and strengthening global partnerships.
