The international military exercise “Winter EX 2025”, organized by the Turkish Land Forces Command, has successfully concluded, with Kosovo’s Security Force (FSK) demonstrating high-level skills and professionalism in winter warfare operations.
FSK’s Role in the Exercise
According to an official statement, the Kosovo contingent excelled in conducting operations under harsh winter conditions, collaborating with international partners in various operational scenarios. Their performance showcased the preparedness and capabilities of Kosovo’s armed forces.
High-Level Visits and Recognition
During the exercise, Brigadier General Hysen Dreshaj, Commander of the FSK Land Forces (KOMFT), and Lieutenant Colonel Jaser Mulla, Commander of the 2nd Infantry Regiment, visited the Kosovo contingent.
“General Dreshaj commended the troops for their dedication and professionalism, emphasizing their vital role in representing Kosovo in this prestigious military exercise,” the statement noted.
Participation in Official Events
As part of the official activities, General Dreshaj attended a formal dinner hosted by General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Commander of the Turkish Land Forces, alongside representatives from all participating countries.
Additionally, the FSK contingent took part in the Distinguished Visitors’ Day (DVD) demonstration, where international forces showcased planned military operations, highlighting Kosovo’s contribution to the joint multinational exercise.
