The 42C aviation component of the Croatian contingent was deployed today, March 6, 2025, from the “Knez Trpimir” barracks in Divulje for NATO’s peace support operation in the Republic of Kosovo.

The commander of this component, Major Nikola Gazho, states that the Croatian contingent is well-prepared and ready for another mission.

“We are all well-trained and have contributed to building and maintaining peace and stability in the Republic of Kosovo for many years. We will successfully complete the mission and represent our homeland, Croatia, with dignity and honor,” said Major Gazho.

The primary task of the Croatian contingent in the KFOR operation, which is stationed in the Slatina airport area in Pristina, is the transportation of KFOR forces, cargo, and VIP personnel.
