Andis Harasani, former member of the Albanian Parliament and one of the well-known figures in politics and the energy sector, has passed away at the age of 53.

Harasani, who was a member of the Socialist Party, served as a deputy from 2005 to 2009.

During his tenure, he played an important role in Albania’s energy policies, leading the Albanian Power Corporation (KESH) from 2002 to 2005.

After leaving politics, Harasani engaged in business, founding a company in the United States and contributing to the development of several international initiatives.

Despite his business commitments, he remained known for his influence in the country’s political scene.

It is reported that he passed away in New York, USA, where he had been battling a serious illness for some time.
