The Government of Kosovo is set to discuss 18 agenda items in today’s meeting, including the Initiative for the Framework Agreement on Defense Cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States, represented by the Department of Defense.
In January, Kosovo’s Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, announced that during his visit to the U.S. Department of Defense, discussions were held on implementing the defense framework agreement. According to official statements, this agreement is expected to create new opportunities in the field of security and defense.
The government is also expected to make decisions regarding several expropriations. Additionally, it will review the initiative for a General Security Agreement between Kosovo and Slovenia for the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.
