The Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, emphasized that Kosovo needs to focus more on dialogue with Serbia and advancing domestic reforms. He stressed the importance of the Government of Kosovo facilitating and mediating this dialogue, as well as making progress in the rule of law and economic development.
The Dutch Ambassador, Karin Boven, supported this call, describing the strengthening of the rule of law as a key priority for Kosovo’s advancement on its path to the EU. She also pointed out that this is a response to the needs and aspirations of the citizens of Kosovo for a just and stable state.
On the other hand, Arbëresha Loxha-Stublla, Executive Director at GLPS, highlighted that previous governments did not prioritize European integration and related reforms enough, which has led to missed opportunities for significant changes.
