Kosovo Government Holds Electronic Meeting: Key Decisions Taken

Kosovo’s caretaker government held an electronic meeting yesterday, during which several important decisions were made.

Key Government Decisions:

  1. Approval of the Regulation on Work Results in the Health Sector.
  2. Appointment of the Board of Directors for the Public Enterprise “Kosovo Energy Corporation/KEK”:
    • Chair: Valdrin Krasniqi
    • Member: Merita Kasapolli
    • Member: Filloretë Gashi-Sadiku
    • Member: Shpetim Zharku
  3. Appointment of the Board of Directors for the Public Enterprise “Post of Kosovo”:
    • Chair: Gëzim Paci

    • Member: Visar Nura
  4. Approval of the request from the Ministry of Health for the transfer of rights for a plot of land, intended for the construction of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Pristina “Hasan Prishtina.”
  5. Adoption of the Strategic Document and Action Plan for Early Childhood Intervention (NFH 2025-2030).
  6. Establishment of the Local Public Enterprise “Ekosistemi” in Shtime, with 100% shares from the Municipality of Shtime.
  7. Approval of the initiative for a Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Kosovo and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for the implementation of their bilateral development cooperation agreement.
  8. Approval of the initiative for a General Security Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Croatia for mutual exchange and protection of classified information.
  9. Approval of the initiative for a General Security Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Hungary for mutual exchange and protection of classified information.
  10. Establishment of an Ad Hoc Commission for Professional Evaluation for High-Level Director Positions in Kosovo’s Employment Agency.
  11. Establishment of an Ad Hoc Commission for Professional Evaluation for High-Level Director Positions in various Kosovo agencies, including the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration and Kosovo Cybersecurity Agency.
  12. Establishment of an Ad Hoc Commission for Professional Evaluation for the High-Level Position of General Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning, and Infrastructure.
  13. Establishment of an Ad Hoc Commission for Professional Evaluation for the High-Level Position of General Director at the Civil Authority of Kosovo.
  14. Approval of the continuation of the expropriation request for public interest concerning properties managed by the Kosovo Privatization Agency, necessary for the construction of affordable housing in Podujeva.
  15. Approval of the continuation of the expropriation request for properties affected by the construction of the old City Bypass in Gjilan.
  16. Approval of the continuation of the expropriation request for properties required for the “FLOWS” project funded by the World Bank.
  17. Approval of multi-year capital projects, including renovations of the Gjakova and Suhareka city stadiums and cultural heritage sites.
  18. Amendment and supplementation of Government Decision No. 24/251 from March 12, 2025.
  19. Allocation of €350,000 for projects under agreements with United Nations bodies.
  20. Approval of Kosovo’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) under international climate agreements.
