Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti met today with Alex Sobel, Member of the UK Parliament from the Labour Party, to discuss bilateral relations and recent developments in Kosovo.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (ZKM), the two officials talked about strengthening Kosovo–United Kingdom ties, with a focus on expanding cooperation in defense and security sectors.
The meeting also addressed the significance of UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s recent visit to Kosovo earlier this month, emphasizing the importance of continued support and collaboration.
Prime Minister Kurti briefed MP Sobel on the government’s achievements over the past four years, particularly in the areas of economic growth, employment, and social welfare, despite ongoing global crises. He expressed gratitude to Sobel for his visit and his consistent support for Kosovo.
Deputy-elect Fitore Pacolli from Kosovo’s Assembly accompanied Kurti during the meeting.
