President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a significant meeting with the U.S. Congressional delegation led by Congressman Michael Turner, head of the U.S. delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The meeting also included Congress members Brett Guthrie, Linda Sánchez, and Joe Wilson.
The discussions focused on strengthening relations between Kosovo and the United States, with particular emphasis on defense cooperation and economic development.
President Osmani underlined the key role of the U.S. as Kosovo’s most important ally and praised the ongoing American commitment to Kosovo’s security and democracy.
“Kosovo is deeply grateful for the continuous support of the United States — for our security, our democracy, and our path toward Euro-Atlantic integration,” Osmani stated.
The Dayton meeting comes at a crucial time for Kosovo’s foreign policy, as efforts to join international organizations and enhance cooperation with NATO remain top priorities.
This meeting reaffirms U.S. strategic support for Kosovo and the shared commitment to advance bilateral partnership in the service of peace and stability in the region.
