The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, visited the town of Shtime today, where he met with the party’s candidate for mayor, Kastriot Shabani, along with local branch activists.

In a Facebook post following the visit, Abdixhiku praised the tireless work of LDK’s local structures in Shtime, noting that the municipal branch has included 50% women in its electoral list—an effort to reflect inclusivity and equal representation.

“We will be present in every city. For our League, there are no big or small municipalities—only citizens who deserve hope, development, and dignity. There is only one mission, one dream, one goal: to offer a modern politics—one that solves problems and delivers concrete projects,” Abdixhiku wrote.

He also expressed high regard for Kastriot Shabani and his team, calling them “the clearest proof” of LDK’s vision through their serious work and dedication.

Abdixhiku’s visit signals the party’s continued grassroots engagement ahead of future elections, with a focus on restoring public trust and promoting development across all municipalities.
