Kosovo Assembly Speaker Dimal Basha has proposed that the Deputy Speaker position representing the Serbian community be determined by a random draw.
This decision comes after Serb List candidate Slavko Simić failed to secure enough votes in three consecutive attempts. The Serb List insisted that Simić remain their sole candidate for the position.
Speaker Basha’s proposal aims to resolve the impasse and ensure that the Deputy Speaker from the Serbian community is elected fairly, allowing the Assembly to continue with its institutional work.
