Representatives of the OVL-UÇK met with the Ambassador of Croatia to Kosovo, Danijela Barišić.
In a statement, the OVL announced that during the meeting they addressed their concerns regarding the Specialist Chambers and the treatment of former KLA leaders.
Statement:
“Today, as part of our ongoing efforts to address the injustices taking place in the Specialist Court, we held a meeting with the Ambassador of Croatia to Kosovo, Mrs. Danijela Barišić.
With respect and attention, our concerns regarding the treatment of former KLA leaders were heard, and we agreed that these concerns would also be conveyed to the state institutions of Croatia, as a friendly country and an important partner of Kosovo.
We also expressed our gratitude to the Croatian state, which in the most difficult times stood by the people of Kosovo and supported our struggle for freedom.”
