Turkish Major General Özkan Ulutash will once again assume command of KFOR.

The official handover ceremony is scheduled for October 3 at 11:00 AM, where outgoing commander Enrico Barduani will transfer his duties to Ulutash.

The ceremony will be attended by Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, Commander of the Allied Joint Forces Command in Naples, highlighting the significance of the transition within NATO’s peacekeeping framework.

“Italian Army Major General Enrico Barduani will hand over KFOR command to Turkish Army Major General Özkan Ulutash,” KFOR announced.

Ulutash previously commanded KFOR prior to Barduani, and his return underscores continuity and stability within the mission.
