The Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a meeting in Washington D.C. with U.S. Senator from Michigan, Elissa Slotkin.

During the meeting, Kurti congratulated Senator Slotkin on her re-election last year, while the discussion focused on defense, security, integration, and infrastructure investment.

He highlighted the cooperation between Kosovo and the United States in strengthening and equipping the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), underlining the importance of continued U.S. support for Kosovo’s path to NATO membership.

Another topic of discussion was the activism and contribution of the Albanian diaspora in Michigan, its role in strengthening ties between the two countries, and its potential to promote American business investments in Kosovo.
