James (Jock) Covey, the fourth witness called by Hashim Thaçi’s Defense, continues his testimony today before the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
In his statements, Covey has made clear that Thaçi has no connection to any of the Prosecution’s allegations regarding alleged criminal activities by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). His testimony proceeds with further questions from defense lawyer Luka Mishetiq.
James Peter Covey, also known as Jock Covey, was summoned by Thaçi’s Defense as a key witness. According to the Defense’s case summary read before the court, Covey served as Deputy Head of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Kosovo during the relevant period.
