Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani has welcomed the peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, calling it a long-awaited and defining moment for lasting stability in the Middle East.
Her statement followed the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump at midnight, confirming that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of the Peace Plan.
“This is a defining moment for peace that has been long delayed,” President Osmani said. “President Donald Trump and his Administration have shown true leadership and genuine commitment to bringing lasting peace for both Israelis and Palestinians, as well as tireless dedication to ending the suffering endured by generations of innocent people.”
Osmani also expressed gratitude to the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey for their continued efforts and decisive role in facilitating this breakthrough.
