The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo has announced the locations of 38 voting centers designated for conditional voting in the upcoming 2025 Local Elections for Mayors and Municipal Assemblies.

Each municipality will have at least one conditional voting center, totaling 54 polling stations across the country. Conditional voting allows citizens to cast their ballots only within the municipality where they are registered if they cannot reach their regular polling station for objective reasons.

Votes cast conditionally will be counted at the Central Counting and Results Center several days after election day, following established procedures. The CEC emphasizes that only voters listed on the official voter registry are eligible for conditional voting.

This arrangement ensures that all eligible citizens can exercise their right to vote, even under circumstances preventing them from reaching their standard polling location.
