The Republic of Kosovo has expressed support for the peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, calling it “an important moment and a step forward toward lasting peace and long-term regional stability.”
In an official statement, Kosovo also commended the role of the United States in the process.
“Kosovo appreciates the leadership of U.S. President Donald J. Trump and congratulates the mediating efforts of Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt, which were essential in achieving this historic development,” the statement read.
The agreement is described as a decisive step in implementing the first phase of President Trump’s peace initiative in Gaza, enabling a full ceasefire, the release of hostages, and expanded humanitarian aid for civilians in need.
Kosovo concluded by reaffirming its unwavering support for peace, security, and the protection of human life, expressing confidence that this historic development will pave the way for sustainable stability benefiting all peoples in the region.
