The deputy leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lutfi Haziri, has commented on his party’s position regarding Friday’s parliamentary session, during which the Assembly is expected to vote for the vice president representing the Serb community.

According to Haziri, the LDK will consult internally and act in accordance with the Constitution and in the best interest of the Republic of Kosovo.

“The LDK president has asked all MPs to present their positions tomorrow, as always, before the Parliamentary Group, and for us to remain united in our political stance,” Haziri told IndeksOnline.

However, Haziri expressed skepticism about the ruling party’s political intentions.

“We’ll see whether they behave arrogantly as usual, or in the constitutional spirit of the Republic of Kosovo. Personally, I don’t expect good will from those who’ve shown none so far,” he said.
