The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced the final results for the municipality of Mitrovica.
With 100% of votes counted, Vetëvendosje’s candidate Faton Peci leads with 47.96% (15,745 votes).
He is followed closely by Arian Tahiri of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 47.60% (15,629 votes).
Gëzim Pllakolli ranks third with 3.71%.
Faton Peci and Arian Tahiri will face each other again in the runoff election scheduled for November 9.
