Former Prime Minister of Albania and founder of the Socialist Party, Fatos Nano, is reportedly in critical health condition.
According to A2 CNN, Nano suffered a cardiac arrest at home about ten days ago. He is currently in intensive care, having sustained brain damage as a result of the incident.
Fatos Nano is one of the central figures of Albania’s political transition, and the first leader of the Socialist Party, which he founded following the dissolution of the Party of Labour.
His health condition remains serious and concerning.
