Bosniak community MP Duda Balje has stated that, so far, she has had no communication with the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, concerning the formation of the new Government of Kosovo.
Balje said that there has been neither a call nor a meeting with Kurti on this issue.
“No call, no meeting, no conversation so far… Some strange things have happened in recent days, as Emilija Rexhepi came out and said that Mr. Kurti is not against (the creation of a Bosniak-majority municipality). For me, that was a surprise…,” Balje told RTV Dukagjini.
Kurti was nominated on October 11 by Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani to form the new Government. According to the country’s laws, he has 15 days to secure a parliamentary majority — a deadline that expires on October 26.
