President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has sent invitations to the leaders of all parliamentary parties for a meeting scheduled to take place tomorrow at 12:00 p.m., according to sources from Rks News.
The initiative follows the failure of Albin Kurti’s proposed government to secure the necessary votes in the Assembly for the formation of a new cabinet.
Both the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) have publicly stated that they will not seek the mandate to form a new government, emphasizing instead that the country should move toward early elections.
President Osmani’s meeting is expected to focus on the next constitutional steps following the parliamentary deadlock and to explore political consensus on how to resolve the current institutional impasse.
