Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia launched more than 650 drones and 50 missiles against Ukraine overnight, describing the assault as “complex and coordinated.”
He stated that dozens of people were injured in an attack on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia, where at least two fatalities have been confirmed.
In a separate post, Ivan Fedorov, Governor of the Zaporizhzhia region, said that at least 13 people were injured, according to The Guardian.
“There were also numerous despicable attacks on energy infrastructure and civilian targets across the regions — Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv,” Fedorov added.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia continues its terrorist war against civilians and stressed that every attack should “boomerang back against Russia” through concrete consequences, including sanctions and real pressure.
“We rely on America, Europe, and the G7 countries not to ignore Moscow’s aim to destroy everything,” he concluded.
