Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly and Vetëvendosje official, Albulena Haxhiu, confirmed that her party will participate in the meeting convened by President Vjosa Osmani, scheduled for tomorrow.

Speaking to the media after the Assembly Presidency meeting, Haxhiu stated that Vetëvendosje will present its official position during the meeting and reiterated that there will indeed be a “Kurti 3” government.

“Tomorrow we will be at the meeting called by President Osmani. Vetëvendosje’s position will be announced then. Once again, our stance will be made clear tomorrow,” she said.

When asked about the party’s lack of sufficient votes to form a government — an issue that became evident during the December 26 parliamentary session — Haxhiu insisted that the next Kurti-led government will still be formed.

“It will happen, naturally. There will be a Kurti 3 government,” she declared confidently.

Regarding parliamentary signatures, Haxhiu clarified that she had only signed documents related to the formation of parliamentary groups, and not any agreements concerning government formation.

“I haven’t signed any document other than the one establishing the parliamentary groups. If there are any further actions from Vetëvendosje, you will be informed,” she explained.

Haxhiu also made it clear that Vetëvendosje does not support the idea of forming a technical government.

“We do not support a technical government. The citizens have decided — they voted for Albin Kurti. If there are no numbers, then the country will go to early elections,” she affirmed.
