Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has emphasized Kosovo’s role as a positive example of state-building, noting the country’s transition from liberation and independence to democratic progress.
Speaking at the discussion “Peacekeeping at a Crossroads: The Future of UN Missions and Global Responsibility” held yesterday as part of the Paris Peace Forum, Kurti highlighted Kosovo’s experience as a case study of successful international humanitarian military intervention.
“Every peacekeeping mission around the world requires values beyond shared interests, including leadership and clear objectives. Kosovo serves as a strong example of how state empowerment has moved from liberation and independence to democratic progress and economic development, fostering prosperity and well-being for all citizens,” Kurti said, sharing a video from the discussion.
