Following the failure of the second nominee proposed by Vetëvendosje, Glauk Konjufca, to secure enough votes to form a new government, several political parties have confirmed their participation in a meeting called by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, reports Ekonomia Online.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at 10:30.

Representatives of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), and Nisma Socialdemokrate have all confirmed they will attend.

  • Blerta Deliu, MP from PDK, confirmed her party’s participation.
  • Besian Mustafa, MP from LDK, also confirmed participation to the Ekonomia Online News Agency.
  • Kushtrim Xhemaili confirmed that AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj will attend.
  • Xhevahire Izmaku, MP from Nisma Socialdemokrate, likewise stated that they will respond positively to the President’s invitation.

This meeting comes amid heightened political uncertainty, as the failure of two consecutive prime ministerial nominees triggers further constitutional and political consultations.
