President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has officially announced early parliamentary elections, scheduled for December 28.

This move has prompted political parties to begin gearing up for the upcoming elections.

LDK Vice President Lutfi Haziri told IndeksOnline that the party immediately began mobilizing following the announcement of the early elections.

“Basic preparations have started right away,” Haziri stated.

Weeks ago, LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku and Nisma Socialdemocrate leader Fatmir Limaj held a meeting at a café in Pristina, which sparked speculation about the possibility of a pre-election coalition between the two parties.

Regarding these claims, Haziri emphasized that nothing has been finalized yet.

“Everything will be clarified in the coming weeks. For now, other reports should be taken next week,” Haziri told IndeksOnline.

It is worth noting that after two failed attempts by the February 9 election winner, Lëvizja Vetëvendosje, to form a government, President Osmani dissolved the Assembly today and announced early parliamentary elections to be held on December 28.
